Lana Del Rey finally unveiled the music video for “Chemtrails Over the Country Club” from her upcoming seventh album of the same name on Monday (Jan. 11). The title track is also available on streaming services.
The vintage ’60s-style flick features Del Rey in her “little red sports car” driving to the country club to cool off by the pool with her pristine, pearl-wearing posse. She and her friends occasionally sport her infamous shimmering mesh mask that Del Rey previously received flack for wearing. But their perfect summer day gets an unexpected twist when a twister à la The Wizard of Oz swoops in and snatches the singer in her red convertible.
Looks like she’s not at the country club anymore, but Del Rey reunites with her gal pals as they transform into a pack of werewolves in the middle of the night, howling at the moon after setting her car ablaze.

On Sunday night (Jan. 10), the singer-songwriter unveiled the official cover art and track list for her album, which the YouTube video description revealed will finally be released on March 19. Del Rey previously described the Chemtrails Over the Country Club album as “folky, it’s beautiful, it’s super different from Norman [F—ing Rockwell]” in an IGTV clip, where she explained that she was pushing back the album’s release date by 16 weeks due to vinyl delays.
