The 8th generation Skyline (R32 type) was released in 1989. While its predecessor was designed as a decorative luxury car, the R32 model was characterized by a slim body and a focus on improving driving performance, ignoring the cramped rear seats. The image leader for this car was the top-grade GT-R, developed for racing and revived for the first time in 16 years. As intended, the R32 GT-R proved unstoppable in races, and the production car also became extremely popular. Now, 35 years later, it has become a collector's car with fans all over the world. This release features illustrations on the sides of the body that are inspired by Godzilla, the nickname given to the monster in the United States due to its fast and ferocious image.
