Who won Dancing On Ice 2018?

Jake Quickenden was crowned the champion of Dancing On Ice 2018 in an intense final showdown against Brooke Vincent and Max Evans.

In an action-packed final, the pair won over fans and the judges with a series of stunning routines.

Speaking about the win, Jake, who has appeared in The X Factor and I'm A Celebrity, joked: "I might not have to do any more reality shows now!"

Former England cricketer Monty Panesar was set to compete, but The Sun's Bizarre column exclusively revealed that Monty sadly crashed out, breaking his ankle.

The spin bowler was replaced by the singer Lemar, who had been secretly training as the programme's reserve contestant.

Did two dancers get booted off before the show started?

The Sun Online revealed how professional skaters Meg Marschall and Lloyd Jones were booted off the show just weeks into rehearsals.

The on/off lovers failed to bury the hatchet and training suffered due to their blazing rows.

Meg was partnered with Kem Cetinay and Lloyd was with Donna Air but the pair have now been replaced by Alex Murphy and Mark Hanretty.

 

The routines were all previously choreographed by legendary skater Christopher Dean, 59, but now each professional skater will create their performance for their celebrity each week.

The show also has a new home, with Katie explaining: "We have dubbed [it] 'the ice city', and it will join the training rink and the show rink together.

Presenter Philip Schofield said: "Someone who is not actually one of the crew had a sneaky look yesterday and said it is utterly awesome and jaw-dropping, so we think our set is going to be the best it's ever been.

Jason Gardiner made a grand return to Dancing On Ice and joined the judging panel alongside some fan favourites.

Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean managed to swap their coaching roles for judges seats in a move which fans were delighted by.

Ashley Banjo, the Diversity founder and Dance, Dance, Dance judge also joined the panel.

Who presents Dancing On Ice?

Philip Schofield and Holly Willoughby returned as presenters for the show.

The duo hosted the show for the first six years between 2006 and 2011.

Holly bailed after the sixth series and was replaced by Christine Bleakley who hosted alongside Phil for series 7, 8, and 9 between 2012 and 2014.
