Karl-Anthony Towns is a projected first-round pick in Thursday’s NBA draft, so it makes sense that he gains inspiration from great athletes … including himself, apparently.

VICE Sports hung out with the former Kentucky star as he prepares for the draft, and discovered he wrote his own quotes on the walls of his childhood room.

Including:

“Greatness comes at a price. – Karl Towns”

And:

“The harder you work, The harder it is to give up. – Karl Towns”

Other athletes who grace the 19-year-old’s bedroom wall are Kobe Bryant and Willie Mays. But still, that is pretty amazing.
