For consumers, the biggest problems are that:

  • Visualizing yourself in different items as you’re shopping online is difficult (especially if you look nothing like the models)
  • Understanding the sizing and fitting of items online is impossible and returns are a hassle.

For brands, these problems lead to:

  • Low conversion (Average conversion rates are 0.5-1.5%)
  • High return rates (more than 60% of returns are quoted as having a different fit than thought)
  • In other words, lower sales and lower profitability than what could be the standard.

The Founders

We are two college dropouts who have previous experience in e-commerce and generative AI.

Calvin previously founded an e-commerce software startup he bootstrapped to $1.5M in ARR and was acquired for $9M while in high school. While at USC, he built a luxury apparel rental platform that grew to $240K in ARR before shutting down.

Aadi did NLP research for Verizon in high school, then built multiple gen AI products as side projects and for a YC-backed startup while studying CS at Stanford. At Kopia, he’s built the leading diffusion model for virtual try-on in 3 months.
