Glossier have expanded their shade range

The signature Glossier girl look – a clear, bright, dewy complexion, brushed-out brows, a few pinkish daubs on the lips and cheeks – lit up your Insta feed like a dewy-faced firefly when in launched in the UK in 2017. But one thing was always notably lacking: a comprehensive set of skin shades.

The span of tones in their signature foundation, concealer and powders ('Skin Tint', 'Stretch concealer', and 'Wowder,' to use the names on their birth certificates) have now gone up from five to 12 shades in the first two, and from three to five, in the latter.

Jo Malone drops heady new cologne to help you see out winter

As part of their Cologne Intense collection, candle and perfume perennial faves Jo Malone have dropped their Bronze Wood & Leather number. A little bit oak-y, it reminds us of a leather wallet that's just been held by someone who has touched tobacco. In a good way.

bareMinerals launch vegan lipstick

Some good-for-the-world beauty news. Pat this super-pigmented and cruelty-free stain onto lips for a long-lasting, matte finish. The shades go from a deep purple-ish shade to a bright pink peony, but WH loves the coral-y saffron.

Get your hands on this Danish eco skincare brand

Created by a pair of make-up artists with super sensitive skin, the Miild range is ideal for anyone who deals with allergies to beauty products, as well as anyone after a pared-back, eco brand for minimal, every day wear. These guys are certified by Allergycertified, The Nordic Swan Ecolabel and ECOCERT, and so have their creds in order.

This retinol wants to change the way you retinol

The vitamin A derivative can be divisive. Some people extol it's brightening and anti-ageing qualities – others claim it leads to irritation and dryness.
