Bournemouth Beach
Miles of golden sand stretch from Hengistbury Head into Poole Harbour, plenty of space for you and your family.
Wonderful Bournemouth beach stretches in both directions from Bournemouth Pier past Boscombe and into Poole.
All beaches are accessible from the Cliff Top where there is parking and easy access via zig-zag paths or by one of the Victorian Cliff Lifts.
As Bournemouth enjoys it's micro-climate and some of the warmest sea temperatures in the UK it's a great place to bring children and truly relax with the sand beneath your feet.
For safety information there are beach hut offices located across the seafront and if you want to travel along the beach with ease there is also a regular Land Train running along the promenade.
Some beaches are open for dog walkers, including Alum Chine, Middle Chine, Fisherman's Walk and Hengistbury Head between May 1st and 30th September.
