- Die Geschäftsbücher umfassen u.a.

Mixed ChampagneThe Wine Society12x75cl The following 10 cases of Champagne have all been stored since in a deep cellar in an Important House in Southern England. Any label damage has been caused by dampness having been stored on the floor. The climatic conditions for ageing the wine inside the bottle has been perfect. Many of the bottles have been stored for the 5-15 years and some for 15-30 years Having selected one bottle of Champagne at Random (Moet et Chandon. Circa 1990). I can confirm that the condition is outstanding.  I have always been a huge advocate of mature NV Champagne if stored properly. Obviously with a mixed selection, bottles will vary, but here is the note for the bottle of Moet we tried.  A vibrant shimmering light gold colour amplified by a fine white mousse. The bubbles are soft but persevere to create a beautiful wine - , perfectly mature, brioche & a gentle caramel, with a easy going acidity holding it all together like a fine white wine, but with the sparkle of champagne. Not a hint of any oxidation. The fruit starting to hold court over the acidity. A wonderful opportunity to buy NV Champagne with added complexity. On its own or with food, this is the sort of Champagne that gets you talking about it , rather than just something to drink while talking about something else Tasted April 2022
