-37%m***nI love this set. Coloring is an important coping skill that I use to combat my anxieties. I have to admit, I was expecting something cheap that would reflect the price I paid, but these exceeded my expectations. Comes in a really nice, sturdy case. And even just the 60 pack has so many vibrant colors. I've already used several colors and all of them worked great.
I am WELL PLEASED with my purchase.
B***gThese are actually watercolor markers as advertised. You can tell by the way they paint. am They are great! The juicier the marker, the less streaky the result when drawing overlapping lines on dry paper. Because they are watercolor markers, I suspicion that they can be reactivated with water if the ink inside goes dry. I did try drawing on wet paper, and the result was a line that looked kind of like a lighting strike.
These markers do cause the paper to buckle a bit if you go over the ink several times, as is the nature of watercolor. I'd recommend using a paper meant for watercolor paint. You can see this effect in the 5th picture.
I'm impressed with the wide range of hues. There are several purples, which seems quite difficult to come by. You can see all of the colors in the 6th picture. This photo was taken in white light and left unedited, so the colors should be true to life.
The first photo is just proof that I bought this and have it in my possession. The second photo is show casing the loops that hold the pens. Photo 3 shows the zipper, material, and stitching quality. Photo 4 shows a closeup of the fabric and text texture. And I've already talked about photos 5 and 6.
These markers feel cheap, but the quality of the paint is better than expected. Each one has a fine point and a brush tip. I received a set that doesn't have any color names or numbers, so I kept them the way they were organized in the package.
The case they come in is nice and sturdy. It feels like it's made from very thick cardboard, canvas, and thin sheets of memory foam. I think both the packaging and the pens will hold up to everyday use. There were also 3 pairs of replacement nibs and instructions on how to use them.
I would definitely recommend these, especially to anyone looking to try out a new medium. I think they will be a lot of fun going forward.
