Prefijos Rompecabezas en epañol (Spanish Prefixes Puzzle!)

These puzzle pieces are a fun way to learn prefixes in Spanish! I created these Prefix Puzzle pieces for a hands- on, engaging learning experience. I use this activity as practice while studying prefixes as well as a quick review throughout the year.

I've used them for several years and students always enjoy sorting the pieces and finding the correct matches. This is also a great opportunity for students to work in teams and practice perseverance. Turn it into a friendly competition between tables or a beat-the-timer competition.

The last page has blank puzzle pieces so that you can add your own or replace pieces if they go missing. :)

Suggestion: If you plan to use this with more than one group, print the puzzle pieces on different colored papers, cut and then laminate. Put matching colors in an envelope for each group of students. This way each group has their own colored set of prefix puzzle pieces. It makes clean-up so much easier!
