Kodu 3D Game Creation - Step by Step Guide (Basic Programming Coding)

This is a fun way to teach programming/coding to elementary and middle school children.

Children learn to create 3D games in which they program their characters and objects to move and perform actions.

Use the Basic Step by Step Guide to learn the very basics of Kodu Software and create your first world with movable objects in it. This resource can be used for learners to learn independently or to refer to as a guide.

I created this resource for my students as the very first lesson in using Kodu software (they had never heard of it or seen it before). Once they followed the steps in this booklet, they were then independently able to develop their games further without me needing to help them.
