    Description

Are you looking for a way to facilitate French speaking, reading and writing in your daily routine? This fully previewable resource is perfect for you!

Here’s how I use the resource:

    1. I project the slide of my choice. I ask the students to look at the image and to look at the vocabulary.
    2. I ask students to share the words they recognise, and the words they know/understand.
    3. I write the English terms next to the French terms that students guess correctly.
    4. I write down the names on the students who successfully guessed the vocabulary words on the whiteboard. I take a picture of this to document it later in the reading section of my assessment binder.
    5. I ask students to repeat the vocabulary words with me to ensure proper pronunciation.
    6. I ask the students to raise their hands and share what they see in the image by speaking French.
    7. I write down the names of the students who participated on the whiteboard. I take a picture of this to document it later in the speaking section of my assessment binder.
    8. I write the sentences that the students share on the whiteboard to model what I am going to ask them to do independently.
    9. I ask students to copy the sentences that I write with me on their own printed version of the document being projected.
    10. After following the gradual release of responsibility model,I ask the students to either pair up to write sentences, or to do so independently.
    11. Students can colour the image at the end of class if there is enough time.
