My first online purchase of such a high-ticket product, I spent over a month researching ebikes and started to get anxious about what to buy. Fear of buying online versus buying in a brick and mortar shop. Generic brands vs. name brands. Customer support, etc. I ended up choosing PUCKIPUPPY.
First of all, the customer service was outstanding. Since it was my first time buying an e-bike online, I had a lot of questions and PUCKIPUPPY's customer service responded to my emails within 24 hours, answering all of my pre- and post-purchase questions. Their answers were very detailed and professional. They also provided tracking for the bike as well as tracking for the extra gift set.
Once assembled, I rode each bike around the neighbourhood for 5 miles to make sure everything was tight and in good working order before I started the actual testing. The bikes performed flawlessly on both streets, shared trails and short dirt roads. On some very hilly areas, I accelerated with the thumb throttle and it handled that with ease as well. All in all, very pleasant shopping experience!

My wife and I love to ride bikes and we currently own different types of e-bikes/scooters. This bike is the newest addition to our garage and has the best quality of workmanship of all the e-bikes we own. The e-bike is very easy to ride and use, and long distance rides are a breeze. Considering that a good manual bike is almost the same price as this bike, it was a wise choice to go with an e-bike.
After using it for the past 5 days, my review is below and I would recommend this product to anyone looking for an electric bike at this price point.
Pros:
- This bike rides very smoothly overall. There are 5 riding modes - e-bike, assist bike, normal bike, cruise control, push mode - with 5 levels of pedal assist levels to choose from when riding.
- Shimano 7-speed gearing system for riding on any terrain.
- Top speed of approximately 30 mph. It has a powerful 750-watt motor that instantly picks up speed at the push of a trigger.
- The 48V/20Ah battery can travel about 40 miles on a full charge (electric-only mode), which is a good number for an e-bike at this price point.
- Full suspension with hydraulic disc brakes on both front and rear wheels. Both vibration cushioning and brake performance are top notch
- Overall, at the same price point, this e-bike is a good choice both in terms of appearance and performance.

We purchased 4 puckipuppy EBikes (2-Boxer ST, 1 Boxer, & 1 Flamingo). We took the bike for a ride on the beach from Oceano to Pismo Beach. All 4 bikes performed well on the sand and our family had a lot of fun riding them.

I love everything about this bike! I am very impressed with the quality and build. I have ridden a few of my friends e-bikes and decided to get my own. I paid half what my friends did for 3 times the bike. The suspension is top notch. You can't get a more comfortable seat. Customer service went above and beyond expectations. I have zero complaints.
