Item Details
Rolling Block .45-70 rifle was built on a Remington patent action by Numrich Arms, designated the Buffalo model. Heavy octagon barrel is 28" and has a bright bore with sharp rifling. Hardwood stocks are decent with a hairline crack on each side of the forearm near front and a tight crack at toe of butt stock, plus some light handling marks. Bluing is decent with some discoloration extending a couple of inches down from muzzle, possibly from a bore cleaner, light rust freckling here and there, and some dings on the receiver and barrel. Crescent brass butt plate is well-fitted and would polish up nicely. Action is smooth and tight. Rear sight folds down, front sight has a light brass or dark nickel insert. I bet this rifle is a lot of fun to shoot.
