Lucy Heartfilia is an inexperienced wizard who wants to join the Fairy Tail guild. During her first adventure in Hargeon, she meets the fire mage, Natsu Dragneel, and his blue talking cat, Happy.

While the Magic Council decides how to punish Fairy Tail, Natsu and Happy return to the guild with Lucy, to make her dream come true and introduce her to the other members.

Lucy decides to move to Magnolia to be closer to the guild, and after introducing her celestial spirits to her new companions, they decide to set out to the Everlue Mansion to search for a mysterious book.

Inside Duke Everlue's mansion, Natsu, Lucy and Happy discover the great secret of the mysterious book. However, a great battle ensues to decide who gets the priceless artifact.
