LittleBigPlanet's Marvel DLC to be pulled from PlayStation Store

It's going on sale before being removed Jan. 1

LittleBigPlanet's licensing agreement with Marvel appears to be at an end, and fans have until the end of Thursday (Dec. 31) to download a variety of costume packs and a level kit before they're gone for good.

Six Marvel costume packs were releaed in all, four for the original LittleBigPlanet, and two for 2011's LittleBigPlanet 2. There was also a Marvel level-creation kit for LittleBigPlanet. and a Marvel Arcade Pack for LittleBigPlanet on the PS Vita. All DLC from the first two games is compatible with last year's LittleBigPlanet 3 for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4.

Before saying goodbye, Sony is putting everything on sale. The costume packs are now $3.29 each (usually $5.99) and the level kit is $2.74 (normally $4.99). The Marvel Arcade Pack for LittleBigPlanet on PS Vita is $2.74 (usually $4.99).

When the items are removed from the PlayStation Store, they will still be available for redownload to those who purchased them.
