Looking gaunt and sallow, Christian Bale strolls around the set of his latest movie The Fighter after shedding weight for his role as a drug-addicted boxer.

He is unrecognisable from when he starred in American Psycho, in 2000. Any thinner and the Dark Knight star won't need a disguise to play Batman again.
