This year, #drupalcon felt a little different than most of the past conferences. My first #drupalcon was in Boston in 2008. I went there not knowing what to expect and to decide whether to adopt #drupal as our primary technology. This year a lot of attendees were there to learn about the future of drupal in the AI world of the future. I sensed some nervous energy, but also, as the conference went on, a lot of enthusiasm and confidence. I came away from the conference convinced that Drupal is the basis for some of the most amazing solutions and the incredible staying power of Drupal. I made a pledge to be an evangelist of Drupal. We are continuing to do some incredible things with Drupal; we're building a Drupal distribution for a government that is going to be the most feature-rich CMS out of the box for this use case.
