These old Soviet chess pieces look great. This is one of the best sets of chess pieces of the 1950s in the USSR.
Such chess sets had been producing in more simplified form since 1960s already. This is a rather rare chess set, since it had been making in this form only until the second part of the 1950s.
Good knights. Weighted chess pieces. Wide base of the figures.
Damages: white king has no its final; three black pieces: pawn, rook and queen are from the same style similar chess set. It took a long time really to find the similar spare chess pieces for the set. The difference is minimum and absolutely does not catch the eye since after all spare parts from similar chess set.
