2 improvised explosive devices detected, diffused by forces in J&K's Kulgam

A joint team of the police and the Army averted a major attack in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kulgam as personnel detected and subsequently diffused two improvised explosive devices, or IEDs. The explosives were planted by terrorists in Kulgam district’s Frisal area, the police said.

The area has been cordoned off and search operations have been launched.
