Whether she’s rocking halo braids or tousled waves, Sienna Miller never fails to deliver good hair.

We’ve fallen in love with the actress’ boho locks, lusted after her shaggy bob and swooned over her super-sleek retro curls.

But if there’s one hair-do the Brit star has really made her own, it’s the laidback beachy wave.

Here, Luke Hersheson, who styled Sienna’s hair for the cover of this month’s Vogue magazine, reveals how to create Ms Miller’s trademark style.

1. Start at the nape of the neck and curl the bottom sections first using a Daniel Hersheson waving tong. You need to wrap the hair around the curling iron with the iron on top.

2. Leave two inches of the root out and also leave the last half inch of the hair - you don't want any root lift as for this look the waves sit flat to the head.

3. Since you're starting from the bottom of the hair you'll notice that as you go further up you'll be dragging the hair down slightly from the roots. This makes the look more relaxed.

4. Make sure the hair at the front is slightly damp and then tuck it behind the ears. They'll act as natural rollers, giving the hair a natural shape.

5.The brush through the hair with a mixed bristle brush - this will give it a softer, more 1970s look.

6. Finish with a very small amount of Kiehl's Crème With Silk Groom.
