SKIN

“Taking care of yourself, doing face masks, exfoliating—all of these things really do help.”

Fresh face: “I was taught to take off all of my makeup every night, but if I’ve been working all day I’ll use a cleansing wipe to make it quick and easy. They’re great for traveling because you can get them through security.”

Sun protection: “As a fair-skinned girl, I’ve worn sun cream sinceI was a kid. I wear Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch Sun-screen Broad Spectrum SPF100+ on my face everyday.”

Anti-aging cream: “I use retinol at night. I love Neutrogena Rapid Wrinkle Repair because it works so well, and you can buy it anywhere.”

MAKEUP & HAIR

“My personal beauty icons are Catherine Deneuve and Grace Kelly. Their beauty is timeless.”

Lashes & brows: “I get them tinted, but since my lashes are long but straight I have to curl them.”

Lip color: “There’s always a lip gloss in my bag. If I swipe on some gloss and curl my lashes in the morning, I look pulled together (or good enough for school drop-off).”

Salon style: “I’m so low-maintenance, it’s crazy. I’m the girl who doesn’t want to sit in a salon chair for more than 30 minutes. Just do my roots and get me out of there.”

Curly girl: “I have naturally curly hair, and if I’m on holiday I’ll air-dry it. For curls without frizz, I use Kérastase Discipline Oléo-Curl and Moroccanoil Hydrating Styling Cream.”

Runner’s high: “I grew up with a marathon-running father, and my sister does mini triathlons. I do none of that, but I love running—at a very slow pace. I’m not fast or pretty when I run, but I like being outdoors. It lifts my spirits and gives me gratitude for the world. It’s peace for me.”

High-energy workout: “Spinning class is like going to a morning nightclub. It’s dark with really great music, and you go in there and get completely revved up for the day.”

Breakfast of champions: “A bowl of rice puffs with blueberries, raspberries, and almond milk.”

Morning beverage: “I start the day with a cup of matcha tea, and then I move on to coffee.”

FRAGRANCE & BODY

“I’ve always loved scent, aromatherapy, and beautiful oils like musk and amber.”

Signature scent: “I make my own fragrance with a mix of different oils. I’ll get asked what it is, but it’s my secret mix—I never give it away.”

Custom blend: “Every role I play has a different scent. For Big Little Lies, I created a very particular perfume for my character, Celeste, to wear.”

Healing hands: “I learned massage and became licensed when I was 18 to help my mom through breast cancer treatments. It was my way of help-ing her and being by her side.”
