Here’s Every Perk From Borderlands 3’s New Zane And Moze Skill Trees

Well, they’re finally all out there. Today, Gearbox has unveiled the full new skill trees for both Zane and Moze, after doing FL4K and Amara two days ago. To fill “gaps” in their current kits, Zane now has an ability where he can use “after action skill” anointments, and Moze has one that allows her to use “during action skill” ones.

The focus of Zane’s tree is mostly about critical hits, and he has a few new Kill Skills he can activate. Moze’s tree is all about things that buff Iron Bear, not just the new Iron Cub, as both share those effects. The tree also heavily focuses on elemental damage, which is kind of a first for Moze, and should be interesting.

Here is every perk laid out from each tree, and if you want to play around with builds in the skill calculators on Gearbox’s website, you can.

Zane

MNTIS SHOULDER CANNON (Action Skill) – Zane equips a Shoulder Mounted Cannon. Pressing F or G causes Zane to fire his cannon at his crosshairs and consume one charge.

COLDER SHOULDER (Action Skill Mod) – Converts Zane’s Shoulder Cannon damage to Cryo but deals reduced damage. Additionally, Zane gains increased Cryo freeze rate.

WETWORK (Action Skill Mod) – Whenever Zane kills an enemy with his Shoulder Cannon, that enemy explodes into an Elemental Puddle.

NO WAY OUT (Action Skill Mod) – Whenever Zane damages an enemy with his Shoulder Cannon, that enemy is pulled to him and takes increased damage for a short time. Additionally, Zane’s Shoulder Cannon cooldown is increased.

BRAIN DRAIN (Action Skill Mod) – Whenever Zane kills an enemy with a Critical Hit from his Shoulder Cannon, two charges are instantly returned.

PROLIFERATION (Action Skill Mod) – Zane’s Shoulder Cannon gains Additional Charges and deals increased damage based on the number of charges remaining.

MAN OF FOCUS (5 points) – Activating an Action Skill grants Zane increased Accuracy and Handling for a short time. This effect stacks.

RENEGAGE (3 points) – After scoring a Critical Hit), Zane regenerates Health for a short time.

DÉJÀ VU (5 points) – Whenever Zane kills an enemy with a Critical Hit, there is a chance for 1 ammo to be added to his magazine.

HEADMAN’S HAND (5 points) – Kill Skill. Zane gains increased Critical Hit Damage. This effect stacks twice.

TUNNEL VISION (3 points) – While moving, Zane gains increased Accuracy and Handling. The quicker Zane movies, the greater the bonus.

COMMITMENT (5 points) – Kill Skill. Zane gains increased Gun Damage and Action Skill Cooldown Rate.

FUGITIVE (1 point) – Zane can sprint and shoot at the same time.

DOMINO EFFECT (5 points) – Whenever Zane scores a Critical hit, he gains increased Fire Rate and Reload Speed for a short time. If he scores a Critical Hit with his Action Skill, he doubles this effect.

THE ART OF WAR (5 points) – After activating an Action Skill or Action Skill Ability, Zane’s next shot fired from his weapon deals Increased Damage. This effect stacks.

SHEER WILL (3 points) – Zane gains increased Action Skill Cooldown Rate. Scoring a Critical Hit increases this effect. This effect stacks.

ERASER (3 points) – Zane’s Critical Hits pierce through enemies for all weapons, dealing Increased Damage for every enemy pierced.

OUR MAN FLYNT (1 point, capstone) – While aiming down sights, Zane’s weapons deal Bonus Damage and automatically apply their status effects when he scores a Critical Hit.

Moze

IRON CUB (Action Skill) – Moze summons Iron Cub in place of Iron Bear. Iron Cub equips two of whatever weapon is equipped in the remaining Action Skill slot. While deployed, Iron Cub follows Moze and will target and attack enemies for the duration. Skills that affect Iron Bear affect Iron Cub. Iron Cub still uses Fuel, but uses less of it and deals less damage.

FUEL FOR THE FIRE (Action Skill Mod) – Whenever Moze or Iron Cub inflicts a Status Effect on an enemy, iron Cub’s armor is restored.

BABY NUKES (Action Skill Mod) – Whenever Iron Cub is deployed or destroyed, it triggers a nuclear explosion dealing massive Radiation Damage.

MY LITTLE FRIEND (Action Skill Mod) – Iron Cub spawns with an Incendiary Vladof Assault Rifle in addition to Iron Cub’s other weapons.

EFFICIENCY ENGINE (Action Skill Mod) – Moze gains increased Gun Damage. The longer Iron Cub has been active, the greater the bonus.

BIOFUEL (5 points) – Whenever Moze or Iron Bear ignites an enemy, they both regenerate health for a short time.

BIG SURPLUS (3 points) – While Moze’s Action Skill is cooling down, she deals bonus Incendiary damage.

REALLY BIG GUNS (5 points) – Iron Bear gains increased damage.

DOUBLE TIME (3 points) – While Moze’s Action Skill is active, she and Iron Bear gain increased movement speed.

HARMONIOUS HAVOC (5 points) – Moze gains increased Gun Damage for each weapon, shield and grenade that matches the element of her gun.

EXPLOSIVE FURY (3 points) – Moze and Iron Bear gain increased Status Effect Damage and Chance.

FIRED UP (1 point) – Whenever Moze or Iron Bear applies a Status Effect to an enemy, she gains increased Fire Rate for a short time. This effect stacks.

NITROTRINADIUM ENGINES (5 points) – Iron Bear gains increased Maximum Fuel and Action Skill Cooldown Rate.

NEVER GOING TO GIVE YOU UP (5 points) – Whenever Moze or Iron Bear applies a Status Effect to an enemy, Iron Bear gains Fuel. This skill has diminishing returns.

FEATURE CREEP (1 point) – Iron Bear gains increased Damage and Damage Resistance.

LIMIT BREAK (3 points) – Moze gains increased Action Skill Cooldown Rate whenever she or Iron Bear inflicts a Status Effect on an enemy. This effect stacks.

SUPERIOR FIREPOWER (1 point) – Whenever Moze or Iron Bear inflicts a Status Effect on an enemy, they gain increased Status Effect Damage.

RUNNING ON FUMES (1 point) – Whenever Moze or Iron Bear ignites an enemy, Iron Bear does not consume fuel for a short time.

I love these two trees, possibly even more than the FL4K and Amara ones. Moze especially sounds like Iron Bear is going to be even more of a monster than it is now, and I’d argue it’s already the best action skill in the game by a wide margin. Zane running around blasting things with his shoulder cannon sounds great too. Again, these don’t come out until November 10.
