    What I wanted and needed

    My first keyboard in my life. And I use it sometimes, it's for my kid's piano lessons. So, as I have no prior experience with the instrument, I think it's great!

    Yamaha DGX-230

    It's a very professional sounding piece of equipment. If you can get one for under $200, get it. The sound is amazing & has a lot of options. Another nice thing about this model is if it's for one of your children who's taking a music class, it's easy to resell if they decide they're not going to continue in music. Plus they're not getting a cheap, cheap looking 2nd class electric piano....

    Very good keyboard/sound. Offers a lot for the asking price.

    I was looking for a beginner/intermediate Keyboard & after a lot of research I ended up buying the DGX-230. Absolutely not regreting it. Beautiful keyboard & rich sound. Offers a lot for the asking price : Very good sound & build quality, lots of features & very affordable. The keyboard's sustain doesn't last long however, so I would definitely recommand you get a sustain pedal with this keyboard, it makes it sound a lot better. Try the Yamaha FC-4; Hope this was helpful.

    Great value for the money! Love the sound.

    Yamaha a reputable name in the industry. This piano sounds great for the price you pay in comparison to other brands. Light and easy to use. Wish the volume was louder. Bought it to play with electric guitar. Fun to play!

    my first real keyboard

    This is an awesome keyboard even if you can not play the assist is fantastic make you feel like a pro one note at a time it will even teach you to play and the voicing is comparable to equipment costing thousands of dollars I would tell any one if you like music and better yet makeing music this is the very best investment you can make borrow none
