I decided to take the plunge into the Nintendo platform after not being involved with it since childhood. I'm 27 now and I'm so glad I decided to pick up the switch lite as well as animal crossing. There are tons of videos explaining just how much of an impact the game can have on mental health. This is such a crazy time we are living in and it's just so nice to relax and have no worries for awhile. Especially those who have been quarantined for months. I ended up spending 80 dollars above the original asking price for the switch lite and I have no regrets. I also downloaded Firewatch and the untitled Goose Game. If you have the money to spare and you really want it you should go for it, anything to make things a little brighter.

The Nintendo Switch Lite is a great product on it's own. It is easy to carry around, can fit in your pocket even, and has a battery that lasts 5+ hours on a full charge. The graphics are pretty good, and the controls are very well-placed too. There is a ever-expanding library of games to play, so it's hard to find yourself bored. Overall a great product and I highly recommend to anyone wanting to buy one, or if you don't want the normal switch that is a couple hundred dollars more.

Item arrived only one day late, which is understandable with the current way things are. Looks brand new, works amazing and came with everything listed. Couldn't be happier! :)

Bought it for my wife and she loves it! It's her first console and she was able to use it with ease and had no problems getting it set up. As a veteran gamer and a switch user, I love the way it feels in my hand. It's so much more comfortable and easier to use than the regular switch in handheld mode. The joycons being fixed in place make it more comfortable to use, but I miss the stand on the back, and not being able to remove the joycons does take some freedom away. I think it's the perfect handheld console though. Would recommend. Only downside is the Switch Lite cannot be played on a TV it's purely a handheld. I did not know that going in as it's not explicitly advertised, but it is stated. Did not end up mattering, but it could have potentially been a problem.

I'll first start off with negative aspects that aren't intuitive. Switch and SD card can't transfer games, and you always have to log into eShop, as well as look for the lite handheld mode as it won't rumble/detach joycons a la labo. With that outta the way, pricing is perfect if you can get under $170. Nintendo has more sales and Nintendo switch online is an affordable online setting for a year, with $35 for 8 accts on a family plan with nes and snes games in a bundle. I recommend this for a multiplayer setup if you know people. Friend codes should allow a messenger, and I know it's convoluted to transfer from main switch to lite, but you can register a main system with the other to share games (not play at same time) with an online collection. Physical games can be redeemed within a year of release for gold points, which is Nintendo rewards at 1 point per cent.Read full review
