This tape deck is simple and easy to use. It does not have all the fancy things the more advanced decks have but sometimes the full logic ones give more fuzz.

As far as slightly used dual cassette decks go this one has always been a solid Model. The serial number suggested a early 2000 build for the system so other than new belts Some additional cleaning of the play end record heads a mild detergent for the rubber capstan it is refurbished and checked with a standard tonal calibration cassette and oscilloscope, tweaked the motor speeds slightly and the recording bias and its working well So in terms of investment A $20 spend, $30 s&h with tracking all the way plus extremely well packaged It’s worth keeping and has at least a $100 value now it’s fully refurbished A great piece As far as slightly used dual cassette decks go this one has always been a solid Model.
