    Good, but it pretty much forces you to get a Microsoft account

    Because some games are only available on XBox, my husband requested this unit--glad it has wifi. He was hoping to use it without setting up a Microsoft Live account, but it pretty much won't let you do that. It also wouldn't take his excite (dot) com email address, so he was required to set one up with a Microsoft email (I think he did Outlook)--what's up with that!?! So the fam is enjoying the system, but not the Big Brother ways of Microsoft.

    Quiet, sleek, easier HDD access, and Wifi. Worth upgrading? Up to you.

    After hearing about the features of the "Slim" revision of the Xbox 360, I figured I'd go ahead and buy the 4GB Matte Xbox 360. The revision touts a quieter fan, a smaller size, integrated Wifi, and touch activated controls. The fan, first of all, is indeed an improvement. They reduced the fan noise from the jet turbine-like sound of the original model to a gentle hum in the updated model. Compared to the original Xbox 360, it's about 10-15% smaller in height. The integrated Wi-Fi is a plus and a much needed feature, so thankfully there's no more proprietary accessories to buy or jimmy-rigging a shared internet connection with a laptop. Touch activated controls are neat but slightly annoying. If you are reaching around the console, you'll find that your forearm can accidentally turn on ...

    it's okay but if you have young kids I would recommend Wi U or PS

    I got a good price on this product or I wouldn't have been able to afford it. My two boys wanted this. There are not too many games available for their ages 5 & 8. I am still trying to figure out exactly how this system works with internet connections. It came with a free 1 month subscription to Xbox gold (which seems to be a necessity) to get the full use of the system. Also, another down fall is each person needs to have an Xbox Gold membership but that is not going to happen in my household so be it. It is about 9.99 a month for a membership but I'm told they do offer "specials". We have Wi U and I prefer this for the younger kids and it really doesn't cost anything extra (except for Netflix 7.99 a month which we use anyway).. My boys Love this so I guess as long as they are ...

    Everything went smoothly. Great service!

    Everything was brand new, came in packaged just like discription said. Came right on time. Works great, only problem was had a hard time connecting to the wifi through the xbox, but i ended up figuring it out had to call my provider. Controller works great.. Got all the booklets in the package, also came with a 30 day free xbox live trail. i would recommend this product to any gamer lover i enjoy it a lot. only problem is i wish i got the one with bigger memory had to buy a memory card, filled up the memory pretty quickly with the 4gb. Love it either way tho didnt cost to much... was all well worth it... Thank you.

    Great Product! Absolutely Love It!

    Overall, I bought this to replace my old system and have greatly enjoyed the new features and ease of use. It is smaller than the older version I had. I love how it picks up wi-fi. Great feature, no wires! Now I just have to figure out how to use my memory piece from the old system on this one, even though this system has two memory selections.
