Treat-yourself-season is in full swing, and what better time for Ferrero Rocher to release an ice cream version of their famous nutty chocolate?

The Italian chocolate brand has teamed up with Raffaello, the makers of a gorgeous coconut and almond truffle chocolate, to create a range of brand new ice creams that are the answer to late-night sweet tooth cravings.

The ice creams come in a trio of new flavours: Ferrero Rocher Classic, Ferrero Rocher Dark and Raffaello. They'll be on sticks and are sort of Magnum-esque.

The chocolate ice creams will be in Ferrero Rocher's signature round shape and will have its signature crunchy shell with roasted hazelnuts, as well as a rich hazelnut cream and cocoa swirl.

The Raffaello ice cream will have a smooth coconut flavoured ice cream covered with a crispy white coating and a generous sprinkle of coconut and almond pieces.

Davina Valetti, Ice Cream Marketing Director, Ferrero UK & Ireland, said: “We know our fans have been eagerly awaiting the arrival of our ice creams, so we’re thrilled to be launching our first-of-a-kind ice cream sticks. Our dedicated team of experts have spent years crafting the recipes, inspired by two of our iconic and much-loved brands – Ferrero Rocher and Raffaello. We’re looking forward to our fans trying the ice creams and experiencing the unique and iconic tastes of our brands in a new and exciting way!”

They'll be available in Sainsbury's Morrisons and Tesco from next month, and they'll have an RRP of £2 for a single ice cream and £4.75 for a multipack of four.
