Sampled at Oinoscent The wine shows dark fruit, earthy, dense core, spice, plum, raisin, warmth, whole spice, overripe and dried fruit. As it warms up, you also get toast, burnt notes too. Palate with more fruit but lacking depth and complexity, dry astringent tannins, there is a green element throughtout, the oak is dominating the flavour profile, spice, prunes, med body, short to med finish.

PnP.

Opaque ruby color. Pronounced aromas of cherry, leather, vanilla, violet, Prosciutto, smoke, cassis, black tea, a bit of green bell pepper. Med(+) body, high acidity, dry, medium alcohol, med(+) grainy tannins, long finish. For the price in Europe (at around $25), this is a real steal. Still has some freshness, intensity and structure but it’s matured and aromatic with a long finish. Drinking well beautifully now but it would probably still improve over next few years. Fantastic QPR.

Pale ruby color with medium legs. Earthy nose with cassis, blackberry and oak. Cranberry, cherry and light tea on the palate. Light leathery finish.
