May 7, 2022 - Great traditionally-styled Barolo. No sign of oak. Tannins are prevalent, but they're fine and I like them. Great fruit and acidity combination to give a mouthwatering tanginess. Better at the 1.5 hour mark, not sure beyond that. Looking forward to the next bottle in 5 years.

April 22, 2022 - I just love aged Barolo and this one is at excellent spot right now, just singing. Wine is aged for 24 months in FR oak, 40% new. Medium+ garnet red colour, amber rim. Expressive and rustic aroma of dried cherries, medicinal notes, herbs, toast, cured meat, dried rose petals, earthy hints. Medium body, concentrated, rich and lively with well structured firm sandy tannins, vibrant acidity and dried red fruit flavours, floral, spiced and smoky finish.

September 3, 2017 - Not a fan of this. Alcoholic.

November 6, 2016 - Still young, but quite good. After some time in the decanter anise, rose petal, crushed cherry, currant, leather, mushroom, damp earth, tobacco, and hints of tar. The palate was tight initially but with food and air softened and is quite good now. This should age well for another 10-15.

July 14, 2016 - No decant; bricked red; restrained nose; solid grip with ample fruit and vigorous tannins; prominent tin, red fruit; disappointing, maybe bottle variation; 16.5
