Description:

The aim of the project is the improvement of various spaces and elements of the Parc Güell. The whole Park Guell is declared a historic-artistic monument according to the Register BIC from the 24-07-1969. It is also considered a Cultural Asset of National Interest in the category of historic monument. It is included in the UNESCO World Heritage list of UNESCO since 2-11-1984.

Description:

The project is located in the interior of the Park Güell. The ground of the park consists in a finca of approx. 15 hectares characterized by a configuration predominantly concave and rugged. The park is oriented to the southeast, in one of the mountains which surround the plain of Barcelona call Montaña Pelada, in the municipal term of grace, with a drop of about 60m and an elevation above sea level between the 210 and 150 meters.

Description:

The action is divided into five parts: putting into value and access to the Font Sarva, the improvement of the current access to the cistern situated under the hypostyle room, the restoration of the trencadis on the back of the bank of the square of the nature, the restoration of the trencadis white of the domes of the hypostyle room and the reconstruction and structural improvement of the handrails gritty viaduct below. Sarva fountain - The action seeks the placing on value of space, currently not visible or visitable, making it accessible and adapting it to the new conditions of use. Tank access - The action consists in improving the current access to the cistern situated under the hypostyle room, so that you can access more easily. Bench - The performance includes the study of the current state of the trencadis on the back of the bank for later, to demarcate the areas to rehabilitate. Hypostyle Hall ceiling - The performance includes the study and the subsequent rehabilitation of the domes of the hypostyle Hall. Viaduct “de baix” - The object of the action is to restore the original image of the railings of the viaduct, which also improves the structural stability of the entire system.

Park Güell has three access: the street Olot (main entrance), the road of Carmel, No. 23 and a third, the passage of Sant Josep de la Muntanya.
