India 1,000 Rupees banknote from 2012 has a pick number P-107c, is in used condition, and features Mahatma Gandhi.


This used 1,000 Indian rupee note is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Reserve Bank of India. It is a red, pink, yellow, orange, black, green, and light blue note that is dated 2012, bears the signature of Duvvuri Subbarao, and measures 176 mm x 73 mm. Its obverse side features the lion capital of Ashoka pillar, flowers, the RBI seal, and a portrait of Mahatma Gandhi. Its reverse side shows a language panel, farmers riding a combine tractor in a wheat field, an offshore oil drilling platform, a satellite, a young woman using a computer with a CRT monitor, and a steel mill. Security features include a denomination registration device, a 3-mm wide green-to-blue windowed security thread with demetallized RBI and India in Hindi text, and a watermark of Mahatma Gandhi with an electrotype 1000 and a vertical RBI 1000.
