Review is for Grentay Rechargeable LED Flashlights High Lumens, Powerful Tactical Flashlight......
Being part of the Vine program, means I get to review a lot of flashlights. This one came up so I grabbed it.
The description says "20000 lumens" While I don't have a measuring device for lumens, I can compare this against other flashlights that I have. I will tell you flat out....this is the brightest flashlight that I have. Totally worth it. Right now there is a 50% off coupon, so grab it while you can. That alone makes it a WIN!
What you get:
1. Flashlight with battery adapter, so you can use it in a pinch with AAA batteries
2. Comes with the "big boy" battery, 26650.
3. USB-C cable to USB-A for charging the battery, DIRECTLY in the flashlight
4. Nice holster for the flashlight
This is a nice flashlight, and its big and beefy. It won't win any slim and easy to carry in your hand type of pencil flashlight. I like the heft of this one.
Let go over the flashlight features. Some cool functions.
Zoomable....for me this is a must have, and this one does it well. Not too lose, not too tight.
Light functions: Full bright, medium, low, then strobe, and the cool SOS feature. Repeats morse SOS. Very cool. I have not seen that in a flashlight before.
This puts out a very, VERY bright white light, which I really like.
Charging....you don't need an external charger with this one for the included battery, you can charge it right in the flashlight. The flashlight gives you dots for remaining power, which is great to see at a glance if you can't remember if it is charged or not.
It does NOT have a memory feature, so once you turn it on, it goes full bright, then you must click through all the modes to find the one you want. Hold the on/off button to turn off.
This is so bright, if you are on full bright and shine it on your skin, close up, you can feel the heat.
No way to know if this one will last a long time, and on full bright, it does get warm.
For normal functions, you can use this on even LOW and it is super bright, but not so bright that it hurts your eyes for normal around the house use. I would NOT use this on HIGH, or FULL around people who will look at it, since they can't help but "go to the light".....that would be dangerous, however if you parked your car in a remote area you didn't fell safe about, I wouldn't hesitate to take this with you just in case....this would really ruin a persons day if you shined it directly into their eyes.
Hopefully this would be good for your use. I still can't believe how dang bright this is for the price. How long will it stay on full bright before it steps down due to heat? I can't say. I hope this helps you. For the price at 50% off, you can't go wrong. I may pick up another one, just because I like it so much.
Oh...one more thing. You can use this to charge a USB device too, like your phone in a pinch. Just get it.
I don't think you will be disappointed.
