    Trinity College offers both of the two major types-the Anglo and the English models. The Anglo model is a "bisonoric" design-much like today's harmonica-where a different note is produced by the "push" and "pull" motion of the bellows. This type of mechanism lends itself perfectly for many styles of ethnic or "folk" dance music.

    We were hoping to avoid the problem of sticking keys but unfortunately it had one that stuck or sounded bad right from the start. I will probably send it back. It sounds similar to our Hohner, but I guess the problems are similar as well. This concertina is slightly bigger than the Hohner which I do not consider an asset since its travel size is one of the concertina's best attributes.
