Warm, sweet, and with the pleasantly burnt notes of dark caramel, our Granulated Molasses makes it easy to give delicious depth to dishes. Granulated Molasses will pour easily, without leaving sticky residue on jars or countertops, and blends smoothly into liquids.

Baked goods cooked with Granulated Molasses, where the molasses is the primary sweetener in place of sugar, tend to darken quickly, so lowering cooking temperature by 25 degrees can help the goods bake more evenly. It's great in oatmeal and in gingerbread cookies. Try sprinkling it over your apples when making apple pie or mixed into banana-nut bread. It also works well with savories like baked beans, barbecue sauce, and spice rubs for low-and-slow smoking. It would be a great addition to an acorn squash stuffed with fall goodies, like chestnuts and apples.

If you are using this to replace liquid molasses, start with a 1 to 1 ratio, and adapt the ratio to your particular taste.

The product is labeled as molasses but it’s only 1/3 molasses mixed in with sugar and caramel. I basically paid $13 for colored sugar. And, because it’s a food product, it’s not eligible for return. Definitely won’t buy from this seller again.
