I FIGURED IT OUT!!! woot woot!! I lost more than half of the box because they peel off without the sticky part...WELL, I figured it out! There is a corner that you peel off and lift up the sticky from the base. once that sticky is peeled up all the cones have sticky and not one was lost. I work in an area where I cannot have smoke so these do work well once you know the secret.

Given that there are no alternatives on Amazon, this is our only choice at the moment. To summarize, they may not be the best in quality, but they appear to work. For higher quality options, you may need to find an external supply website on the internet. Yes, you may find higher quality products, but the costs will be higher as well. During shipping, several of the moxa fell off and were no longer usable. Some don't peel off the pad correctly, or the moxa portion wasn't glued properly so falls off. My first box probably had around ten duds which is disappointing, so expect that. Also, the length of the sticks is variable - some are shorter and some are longer.

Yes, the instructions are in Korean. I translated them, but even in English they are useless. I will explain based on my experience using them. First peel off the orange layer at the corner of each strip that will separate the moxa. Carefully separate the moxa off the orange pad. They key is to be careful. If you did it correctly, the bottom of the moxa will have the adhesive with silver color showing. Part of the orange pad should remain when looking from the top down.

The adhesive is not that sticky, nor do you want it to be. If it was any stickier, they would be difficult to remove from your skin. I'm a man and using on my legs, so if you are using them on a hairy area, it would be an issue if they were any stickier. Actually, for any part of skin they would be difficult to remove if they were any stickier. If you aren't dry enough after a shower, they make not stick well. If you have been sweaty or dirty, they will not stick well. I've honestly not had too much issue with them staying on. Only if I moved them for readjustment. Try to get them on the right spot the first try.

The moxa sticks burn pretty fast once lit. Each lasts probably 5-10 minutes, but they remain hot to the touch for another 5-10 minutes. I like to leave them on for the residual heat for a total contact time of 10-15 minutes. Plus, they are too hot to the touch to remove. Obviously remove immediately if your skin becomes too hot. Be careful because the ash from the top easily breaks off if brushed. I like to place a glass jar underneath to dispose of the moxa and catch any ash that may fall off. I think the reason they aren't made any longer is because the weight of the ash would fall off on its own and the adhesive would need to be stickier to support the weight.

There are stickers included to add a layer to your skin to reduce heat. I don't use the stickers, but sometimes I need to remove the stick early due to excess heat buildup. If you use the stickers, they will block contact of the burning moxa with your skin, which I think defeats the purpose of using moxa. Basically, you would simply be heating your pressure point, not treating it with moxa.

In conclusion, don't expect perfection for the price we are paying for these little guys. If you can have realistic expectations, don't hesitate to buy. Otherwise avoid. Don't be expecting anything of the quality you might find a professional using. These are for home use and are the cheapest option currently compared to other brands.
