We needed a tool to cut down some water plants in a ravine, and this tool worked very well. The serrated edge sawed through the fibrous stems. Just remember that it is double edged. It's sharp, but not dangerously sharp. It is well made, and fit my small hand well. I love that it comes with a sheath for the knife as well. It makes it safer to carry around the yard. I definitely recommend this knife.

 I like that this machete comes with a sheath that has a belt loop and a snap to secure it in the sheet so that it doesn't fall out. I like the double edged serrated feature for easier sawing. I like that it's a full metal Tang and the grip on the handle is large enough to feel comfortable in my hand. The one thing I don't like is the blade itself is not that sharp.
