So impressed with this Bible!
This Bible exceeded all of my expectations. I have a lot of Bibles and a lot of different Bible translations. This is my first NRSV and I'm in love with it. The translation itself is clear and easy to understand along with being rated as most accurate by most biblical scholars. I love all of the information it gives you at the beginning of the Bible. It gives you a very in depth Bible history (Old and New Teatament history), explains the authority of the Bible, talks about the authority of scripture, the geography of Palestine, goes over major themes in scripture, the Person and the work of Christ, the Holy Spirit and the church, canonization and translation, and tips on how to study the Bible. I have never seen an introduction to the Bible like this one! It's amazing! I am going to buy this Bible for my friends and family as gifts. Would be an especially great gift for a new believer since it explains everything so thoroughly in the introduction. The Bible itself is very well made and the paper is thick and the font is bold and bigger. Best quality Bible I have ever purchased and I have about 6 Bibles. Ive spent way more money on other Bibles and not gotten this quality. All in all, excellent Bible!
