I tested it against other framing squares I have just to see if 90 degrees is really accurate - it is - yeah. Tested with my speed square for 45 degrees, again 45.0! right on the mark.

The only thing you should be aware of is it's big (16"), which makes it not possible to use on radial arm saws, and compound miter boxes because the blade guards prevent it from laying on the table and against the blade to verify your angle.

If you have these tools, I would look for a shorter angle finder (perhaps 6-8")
