I bought this with some hesitation as I usually wait until I arrive in whatever country I am visiting and purchase a local sim card. This time however, my wife and I were landing in Lisbon, and immediately traveling South to Lagos, so I wanted to have a phone while traveling and to call ahead to our Airbnb host.
I installed the sim card in the US at the airport before departing and left the phone off until I arrived at the Lisbon airport. I turned it on as soon as we landed. I was worried at first, because it didn't show cellular service for 5-10 minutes, but then it did show and all was good.
It was a lifesaver on the way to Lagos as I had problems with my GPS unit, so I switched to Google maps using my phone, and it easily got us to our destination, and allowed me to call our Airbnb guest. Just FYI, you must use the country code that you're in when making local calls. I used the phone for navigation to and from Lagos and around the Algarve region, and also to hail several Uber's, and never once lost service, and still had almost 9 GB of the beginning 12 GB left after 10 days. Also, it was easy to call the toll free number (3 digits, they come with the instructions) to check my balance. I highly recommend this card and will purchase another when traveling in Europe.

This SIM Card Worked Like A Charm.
It was very easy and simple to use.
This is coming from someone who is not technical at all.
After reading the positive reviews I made the decision to purchase this SIM card over Amazon instead of running through Heathrow Airport Airport trying to find one.
My current cell plan doesn't have an international calling option available.
Simply follow the directions.
Make sure to register the SIM card at least two to three days before travel with the website provided.
This will include using your Amazon order number and the digits that are located on the actual SIM card.
I was able to install the SIM card before departing the airplane.
Once in London, I basically had unlimited coverage. I even had coverage during a day trip that we had taken to Paris.
This included using Uber and having access to the various maps.
It was definitely worth the money.
However, I didn't have access to my text service and had to rely on Whatsapp.

It provides you data only in certain countries. In other countries, either signals are very weak or its only 2G/3G data speed.

I used on Austria, Czech Rupublic and Italy. I had practically no data in Austria and Czech Republic. I was connected but data speed was only 2G even in big cities like Vienna and Prague. Outside of big cities, signals were no existent. However it worked OK in Milan, Italy. In the past I've used Vodafone and Orange Sim cards and had no such issues. It looks like that issue was with this cellular company. Don't recommend getting this sim card.

repeated delays in original anticipated delivery time, created some undue stress. left for airport right after delivery. Unlike those cards that require registration, where it is recommended that it be registered multiple days before using, this card was as titled- plug and play. I did not need to register it, just switched out SIM on airplane before landing. worked reasonably well in Zurich and southwestern Germany. not a lot of instructions to help out. as another reviewer stated, calls are only within Europe, (at least not to the US- did not try elsewhere)

much less expensive than if I had stuck with ATT. At this point would purchase again

Do not plug in the sim until in you destination and make sure to send the activation request 3+ days in advance.

I got a message stating I was at 90% data usage after only using 2.88GB according to my phone

In Germany I did have a lot of instances when I had a signal yet couldn't transfer data.

Please note that at first it seems like they are sending you the wrong item but they aren't. I initially got very upset with the seller because some of the reviews are all over the place and I didn't understand, but the seller was very responsive by email. The first confusing part is that the picture doesn't match what they send. That is OK. The picture is of the older Three 10gb sim card that it seems they don't sell anymore. If they do, it is hard to find. My confusion was that this was the card I had used in the past and it worked great. That card automatically loaded the 10gb plan. The card you will receive from this company, is a Three pay as you go sim card. I actually installed it in the US, before we left. Most people don't do that, but it installed just fine, Three texts the UK Phone number, and I had no trouble setting up a Three account with the Three App. What confused me, was at that point, if you check your plan it says 0 balance and 0 data. Do Not Worry. On the sim card packaging is the website for the seller. You register the simcard with them and tell them when you want it activated. Once it's activated by the seller, the calling, texting and 10gb data plan good for 1 month shows up in your account. I think it may even be possible to use this card again in the future by topping it up with another data plan, but I read someplace that you have to have UK credit card to do that, but I would check with the seller. Now that I understand the process, I would buy this again.

As soon as I registered it a few days before departure, I got emails from the customer service with instructions They also gave me the UK phone # associated with the SIM card. When we touched down in Heathrow Airport, it worked as expected. The reception was good even in the Tube. I was very happy, and would buy this again.
