    This splint is highly-adjustable and allows you to dial in the right amount of tension/stretch you need to help with plantar fasciitis/heel spur. It does not cut off your circulation while wearing it. I haven’t tried sleeping through the night with it yet, but have worn it in a very stretched position for a couple of hours at a time and haven’t encountered any unusual discomfort. It’s well-constructed and has very aggressive velcro straps. They really stick and stay where you put them! It takes a few tries to get it configured properly, but the directions are pretty good and easy to follow, if you can just keep the velcro from grabbing onto everything in sight! I now have it figured out for my foot. I think the little heel strap, which you don’t find on other splints, is actually a good thing because it secures your foot in a position that maximizes your stretch and helps to keep it there. Just don’t tighten it too much. You don’t want your foot too for forward in the splint. The underside of the splint needs to rest in the center of your instep, not toward the back of your instep. This injury takes a long time to heal, so be patient and keep at it. I also use a golf ball to roll under my bad heel and arch and do gentle calf stretches for therapy.
