I am not much for kitchen gadgets, since I never seem to have enough counterspace to keep them out and once they go into the pantry or onto a shelf they never seem to reappear, but was intrigued by the concept here. I love the idea of cooking from frozen (which is something I do often, given kids and sports schedules) and the ability to cook a whole chicken on the countertop in the space it takes to hold my large toaster was highly compelling, so we decided to give it a try.
We first used it to make chicken breasts for sandwiches. I used fresh chicken, sliced thin, and after struggling a bit to figure out time (the included timing chart didn't exactly capture the thickness/weight I was using), found this to produce excellent, moist, tender, juicy breast fillets - even though I overcooked them by about 15 degrees! Where on the grill or in the oven, this would result in dry meat, the NuWave kept everything to a perfect consistency even with the overcooking.
I love that I could also use it to brown the rolls and melt cheese in literally a few minutes, allowing me to limit the number of appliances/dishes/utensils I use to make a single meal. Plus, the surface area is large enough to allow you to cook multiple items at once, without worrying about flavor overlap.It is easy to clean and there are scores of recipes online - plus the handy-dandy cheat sheet with times and temperatures means you can adapt your regular recipes as well.
The only thing I don't love is that if you are not certain of the timing, you have to disengage the entire top to check on the cook temperature/consistency of what you are making. I wish there was a window or some way to stick a thermometer or fork/knife in to check on your food while cooking because while viewing through the yellow panels is easy enough, I wasn't sure what it was supposed to look like when completely cooked - which is how I wound up leaving the chicken on longer, because the yellow color meant the meat didn't look completely cooked even though it was.
Still, it's a minor inconvenience, and I'm sure that the more I use it, the better I will get at knowing times. I'm looking forward to trying it for frozen-to-table-ready meals next!

Seems to work as it says. As big as air fryer but more cooking area.
Updated 5/6/2024:I made an apple crisp today. Worked fine. Cooked an hour. Didn't heat up the kitchen. The fan did blow some of the oats and things around in the cooker. It got oats on the bottom tray (easily cleaned) and also some stickiness (from the brown sugar, I guess) on the bottom tray and the edges of the aqua base that the bottom tray sits in.The little arm/prop thing is useless. I'd just as soon pick the whole thing up and put it down on the stove or something. The heavy, functional part wants to slip off if you tilt it onto the prop. You have to lift and tilt simultaneously in order to get the domed lid off the cooking area and onto the prop. I don't find that to be helpful at all. Some kind of design where you can gently tilt with one hand onto something that will hold it in place would be much more useful. This one feels insecure and unsteady.
