This oil is extremely thick, it has the same consistency as jamaican castor oil. I actually mix this oil with castor oil,jojoba oil with rose water it waters very well. Beware the smell is very overpowering but I realize time and time that with using natural products for hair growth ,the stuff that really works majority of the time will not always smell good.

I am 100% satisfied with this purchase. It is excellent quality Neem and the seller has set a fair and reasonable price. I use Neem for everything. Seriously. I practically cover my entire life with it. lol I use it for:

1.) Fleas: ABSOLUTELY the BEST thing you can use. I have a whole gaggle of Boston Terriers. We live in the PNW which has the perfect humidity and mild weather for fleas to breed year round like crazy. The fleas in this area have mutated to become resistant to Advantage and literally all the other popular flea treatments. Neem is the only thing that works! The best part is, I make a spray that treats my dogs, the entire house, and my 3/4 Acre yard. All that barely even puts a dent in this content level of this bottle. Fleas die on contact. Spray the dogs before the bath, add another drop to shampoo for good measure. GONE!

2.) Skincare: I’ve used Neem to successfully treat the following afflictions: Shingles, My sons prescription resistant Acne, Fungal infection, Hair growth for foster dog with alopecia (mixed with castor oil), demodex mites, dry skin, scalp psoriasis. Yes. It stinks. But when diluted properly and used at night, the smell washes off of you with your morning shower. If you have a problem you’re struggling to treat with conventional methods, Neem will probably do the trick.

3.) Plants: kills spider mites on House plants, kills ALL pests in garden (yes, even positive insects like bees and butterflies so USE AT DUSK) Ticks? Gone. Aphids? Gone. Ants, problematic moths, poisonous spiders, termites, etc? GONE! I spray that same homemade spray for fleas lightly on problem areas. Use it on our clothing to repel ticks before hiking too.

To address the smell again, it does stink. Smells a bit like someone mixed roasted garlic with dirt. lol That said, until you’ve had lots of experience with different brands/sources of Neem, and learned the difference in smell from very low quality Neem oils or Neem oils that have “turned”/gone bad, you won’t be able to appreciate how little this higher quality Neem stinks in comparison. This smells exactly as it should.

Won’t need another bottle myself for a long time, this is just such a big bottle... but when I do I will certainly purchase this again. Thinking of grabbing a bottle for a friend who is struggling with fleas at the moment too.

I love neem!! It smells strong but my mom and I like it, it's sort of an earthy smell like wet dirt and trees. I don't mind the smell and have used it successfully for mite infestation. Funny story I went to bed after putting neem on my face with coconut oil dilution. Well I wake up to the feeling of a spider running up my chin to my nose. I then search for said spider all around my room. I couldn't find it, I figure it is gone so I continue sleeping. I then get up in the morning and go about my business. When I bend over to wash my hands in the sink I see the spider fall of my head dead. So as it appears when I woke up to the sensation of the spider and searched for him he was already dead on top of my head(that is how fast the neem killed him as soon as he ran he was already dead.) I don't know how this review can get any better neem kills spiders: sold. I love love love it, it has helped my skin become soft and nice. The only disclaimer is don't use while pregnant as it can cause harm to a fetus. It works for mosquito repellent extremely well, also making my skin beautiful. I could go on and on about how much I love it. It cured my athletes foot I had for years. I will be a neem lover for my whole life thanks to this product.

Even though this neem oil really stinks terribly, like maybe what raw garlic + BO sweat together would smell like, I really like what it does for my hair and skin. Just one drop of neem to 10 drops of carrier oil and 5 drops of lavender oil takes care of the stink. I use that on my face at night. I use just a drop or two in my homemade shampoo that is based on powered clay and water. You have to add lavender essential oil to mask the smell or you will repel everyone around you including the dog.
