In 2006 Wysi introduced consumers to feeling "at the sink clean" anywhere they need it, at home or on the go. This innovative product closed the gap between bulky laundered cotton; single use paper towels; and conventional wipes.
How did we get our start?

After finding a small tablet that amazed and intrigued us, we needed to know if people loved it as much as we did. So we took it to the marketplace at our local fair. Consumer acceptance, once they saw the wipe in action, was fantastic! Since then, we have added 3 more sizes.

What makes our products unique?

The Wysie Wipe Mult-Purpose wash cloth. First, this is an honest review. I bought a package to try them. Here is my findings. First, they make excellent washcloths for washing one's face and hands. They are very soft and somewhat durable. However, over time they stretch out and begin to break down. Far more quickly, actually, than some types of more durable paper towels, though they are far more compact than those blue shop towels are. Second, while you *can* use them for washing your face and hands, using one as a washcloth for the bath, you'll get maybe one or two uses before they deteriorate. They cannot handle firm scrubbing. They also do not rinse out well if you get soap in your's. Nor should you wrap one around a soap for scrubbing your body because the wysie wipe will break down quickly. When you pull one direction, the thing stays fairly strong. However, the other way, it tears quite easily. It also tears quite easily when wet. When you use it for cleaning counters or such things, again, hard scrubbing will make it fall apart. These are not made for that kind of work.

Now, for preppers who are buying this to use as washcloths and then later, toilet paper, it works well. You can dip it in water, squeeze it out, and wipe your face and hands and feel somewhat clean. Though I'd use a second wysie to dry your face after. It's true, you do not need water to pull these big ones apart. It does take a little bit of careful tugging to avoid ripping it apart, but not *too* careful and once started, it is about the size, as I stated earlier, of a full sized washcloth. In size by itself, it's about as big around as a silver dollar and as thick as four or five quarters stacked up. In all, they're a good buy to have with your prep supplies. However, I would highly recommend you still have *normal* washcloths with your prep supplies. Because these have drawbacks such as the fact each one will last only a small handful of washings before they begin to deteriorate. Though they DO make good toilet paper afterward. And they have a very odd odor when you use them to wash your face. Don't worry, it's just the odor of "wet paper", though. The reason for the 4 stars and not five is that they're not as durable as advertised. But they are decent and very useful.

They hold up well and you do not have to use water to open them and use them, although it makes it softer.
