You cannot buy better malware protection!
Pros: Malwarebytes is now a subscription-based software product, and is my go-to first line defender to keep my personal laptop free of malware, ransomware and viruses. Bad actors abound and can infect your PC from the invaders lurking on innocent websites like MSN, Yahoo, and others! The basic websites are fine, but their advertisers are NOT!! Many of the 'articles' you click on are carrying malware! I love and trust Malwarebytes, so much so that before I retired, I deployed it across our 30-pc business network and NEVER had any issues, even with users that violated company policy constantly visiting dangerous websites. That's because Malwarebytes is 'real time' protection that stops bad stuff from even getting in. I have my scans set to run once a week (they run daily by default). I recommend this product heartily.Cons: It's not free (but that's to be expected, as stuff you get free is seldom worth much).

The major advantage of the Premium version is the inclusion of real-time protection from malware. The Premium version also offers layers of protection against ransomware and provides enhanced URL filtering protection when you're accessing the Internet. It's also very user friendly and you can set it up to scan automatically. If you've never used Malwarebytes before you'll be happy to know that it's also very easy to install. The license key code was sent to me by physical mail which was the option that I chose. If you're simply renewing your existing Premium membership the purchase here works well for that too. My advice is that if you need an affordable user-friendly product to service your system you can't really do any better than purchasing Malwarebytes Premium. In closing, the price offered here at Amazon is totally unbeatable. It's for a full 18 months . I strongly recommend that you go ahead and make the purchase. Honestly, you can't beat the peace of mind it gives you.

Malwarebytes works in conjunction with your existing antivirus software. Malwarebytes goes a step beyond your antivirus software by targeting many of the malware that is not picked up by your antivirus software.

With your existing antivirus software AND Malwarebytes you will have excellent protection.

The free version of Malwarebytes does not run continuously line your antivirus does. That's where the paid version comes in and runs continuously just like your antivirus. With today's PC's you won't even notice it running until it captures some Malware trying to get onto your PC.
