I have had this mp3 player for about a month and I love it! Back in the era of portable music players, iPods were top of the line, but very expensive. So I resorted to a competitor that was not as expensive but still great quality: Creative Zen. I loved their MP3 players, the battery was great, and you could attach a safety strap to them so they would not slip out of your hand when you went for a jog. Only downside was the players had smaller memory to them, but I dealt with this until the company closed their doors as smartphones and iphones controlled the market. MyMahadi comes as close to what I believe Creative Zen would be today.
Pros:
Great portability! This device fits in your hand and is fairly easy to use.
It has a multitude of software and hardware features. The screen is very bright, but can be adjusted as needed. One rariety I do not usually see with other electronics, is an aux/headphone jack! A pair of headphones are included in the package. This device also has bluetooth, so wireless headphones will work with this as well.
This MP3 also comes with a type C usb charging port, cable included.
It also comes with a memory card (size varies depending what you buy) that can be upgraded, if the current storage does not fit your needs. I only need 64GB, which is what came with it. I believe the max is 125GB, which is alot to hold for such a small device.
Organiziation is great as you can create multiple folders for your music or the apps on the device.
To put music onto the device, you will need to connect the memory card to your computer and download from the computer onto the card. However if you wish, you can configure the wifi settings and pull up your music streaming service of your choosing, such as Spotify. However, you may need to install the app onto the player first.
Cons: No device is perfect and this is a fairly new device at the time I purchased. My only issues with the device is the lackluster battery and that there is no small set of holes to string up a safety strap. It comes with a plastic transparent case, but it is no Otterbox, and likely will not save the glass screen in case it falls and cracks.
The battery is not that great, which is not too surprising for a device that is built to do more than what it can probably handle. If you turn off the wifi and toggle on the battery saving feature, you can get a few hours of play. Otherwise, it will be dimished greatly if you are listeninig through the radio, or music streaming app on top with maximum brightness.
Overall, I am estatic over how felixble the device is with the amount of hardware and software features. It is a great little device. Would like to see it hold a charge better with a more efficient battery.
