The Klein 1986AR Pole Climbers with 1-9/16-Inch Gaffs-Without Pads and Straps features secure sleeve and leg iron connection, two slotted hex-head bolts with lock washers and barrel-type nuts join the steel sleeve and leg iron together, a steel split ring that secures ankle strap in place and allows for quick replacement, a 4-7/16-Inch (113 mm) wide stirrup provides greater foot support, an adjustable climber length-steel sleeve moves in 1/4-Inch (6 mm) increments for the most comfortable fit, and contoured leg irons that help position gaffs securely and comfortably. The Klein 1986AR Pole Climbers with 1-9/16-Inch Gaffs-Without Pads and Straps has a replaceable gaff that firmly attaches to the leg iron with a center pin and two TORX screws and a C.C.A. pole gaff designed to penetrate the hardest salt-treated poles.
