I had a Keurig before this one which was a gift and was smaller and didn't look as nice or operate as quietly or with the color of this one! I love, love, love my new Keurig! Still makes great coffee but it also looks fantastic as it does it. You have the option of four colors for the water container to be illuminated or to gave it used as a night light. You have wallpaper options; can adjust the heat of the water if you like it hotter or use cream. You can set the timer to have it preheated by the time you make it to the kitchen. It comes with a sample box of coffee pods but it also comes with the pod that allows you to use your own coffee. You will not be disappointed in choosing this for your coffeemaker!

The K525C is one of the last versions left that will work with the Vue Cups. Personally I love the Vue Cup Coffee. I think it makes the best coffee one can get from a Keurig. But it suffered the dreaded doom of being the one I picked. Usually, if I choose one of two versions of something I choose the doomed one. I chose HD instead of Blu-Ray and two months later it was dropped by the manufacturer. The only thing I got right was VHS yes I am that old. No matter this unit makes great coffee regardless of the cup style. It is easy to use and offers what they call quiet brew technology, I have no idea how they define quiet but this is not how I would define it. It works quickly and the 80 oz reservoir which goes a long way. We often have guests and need the extra water to accommodate the crowd. We have already had a problem but we were able to resolve it by unplugging it and plugging it in. The reset worked but it does not leave me feeling very confident. Our first unit in this series was replaced because of a problem. The replacement held up very well and produced lots of coffee, tea, hot chocolate, cider, and various other drinks. I suspect it died a premature death after quite a few years of service. I think it was drowned because of water being spilled on it while we were attempting to fill it.

Ok do first off I want to say I am all about my coffee which us why we went with a Keurig my husband and I drink at the bare minimum 6, 12 oz. Cups a day if not more. In the beginning I absolutely loved my amazing Keurig but we have had to buy 6 replacement pins to date because the pins keep breaking off. We are not sure if it's a manufacturing defects or what but it's getting crazy. Can someone please let us know if this is an ongoing problem with this machine. Or if we are just lucky.
