    These showed up extremely poorly packed , dusty and scratched. There was smashed food on the bag. The radios did work, but these were supposed to be a gift. I would recommend to the seller to not advertise these as new equipment.

    I let my 8yr old run around the complex with a little more piece of mind.

    These are weak low wattage radios. They will not climb well over or through structures. Their wavelength is such that it is long enough to impede on things like trees, balcony's, electric wires.

    You will not get around this. This applies to this radio and every radio in this category.
    If you want something more survival oriented then start with GMRS radios or something.

    This will do excellent for apartment complexes, family outings at social functions like airshows, cruises, fairs, concerts.

    This is not a radio for a survivalist.

    The product works but I did not receive a manual. The description stated it came with ear jacks/pieces but they did not come. They appeared to be previously sold and returned for the protective film was only on one walkie talkie. Also two of them had been previously charged for they didn’t take very long to charge. The other two charged within 30 minutes. This was not sold as a used item but I feel like I was sold a used item.

    Good for the price and good for outdoor usage. We used them on a road trip and the walkie talkie went AWOL and would send transmissions when the button was not pressed, and it would happened for an extended period of time, making it hard to stay in touch. We were in separate vehicles and got maybe a block or 2 apart at the most. It seemed to only happen on the highway not sure if it was some type of interference or what. Overall I am happy with it because we use these a lot outdoors, I guess they're just not good for road trips.
