I had never had a lava lamp before so I wasn't sure what to expect. My apartment tends to be really cold (55-60F) and the instructions said that the lamp might not work in those conditions. The first five uses were not pretty, either the coil floated up or it didn't heat up enough and there'd be weird snake-like wax blobs floating around. However, after about a week of just turning it on for 6-8 hours and letting it do its thing, the lamp started working perfectly. I use it as my nightlight every day. I plan on getting a different color at some point, it's just so soothing I'd like to have one in more than my bedroom. Arrived securely packaged as well.

The lava lamp I got is great, looks nice, and is what I wanted as a kid, but I'm an adult now and can use my money how I please.

In a side note my bulb came damaged, the filament was disconnected due to rough handling by amazon. Upon contacting amazon they told me to replace the entire thing, but I pushed on and asked to talk to the company directly since it was just the bulb, on the seller page you can contact Jambo directly and they instantly offered to send me replacement bulbS free of charge, which is what I kept arguing with amazon customer support about, they're a lava lamp company of course they sell and have replacement bulbs. I just wanted to let yall know that these are good people, and I very much enjoyed my service with them, and love watching my lava lamp gloop away next to my monitor.

I am very happy with this lava lamp and I got a great deal. I like the colors and the size as it sits on my coffee table.

I returned a different lava lamp because it was dimmer and smaller. Sadly, the dimmer ones make it so it's difficult to see the lava at the top which is away from the light. This one has uniform light from top to bottom because it's a powerful bulb and built well.

I am thinking about buying another one for my kitchen table. Great lava lamp.

I purchased two of these lamps they both came well packaged however they both had issues. This one works beautifully but it is cloudy, the other one is crystal clear but the wax doesn't move...it is disappointing because they are new. I contacted the seller and they immediately took care of the issue replacing the cloudy one. I also found they work better in a less drafty warmer area, so happy for the great service and how well the seller took care of the issue.

Although the blue is beautiful and looks really nice when lit, it does not work!!! I plugged it in and turned it on at 930 am and turned it of at 830 pm and the wax ball never moved from the bottom of the lamp, so I am very disappointed it this product!! So if you want a pretty blue light with a white ball of wax on the bottom then this is the lamp for you. Personally I prefer one that works. So I give it one star only because I have to give it something. Definitely not worth the money
